Sometimes you need a helping hand during the school holidays.
Do you need care you can rely on for your children during the school holidays? We currently have four Vacation Care programs on offer for the Summer holidays across Tasmania and two in Victoria. Most of these operate on-site at the schools or child care facilities and all offer engaging excursions, incursions and a fun-filled program for your primary school-aged children.
These services generally operate from 8am until 6pm. However some services operate for longer.

Growth and Independence.
Learning to be responsible and independent is a skill that takes time and plenty of practice. For our older children we will usually invite them to assist in running an activity or game or help with packing away items and cleaning up. All of these tasks help children to understand the role of responsibility away from their own homes.
Excursions!
We know it’s hard to talk your child into attending care during the holidays but we can guarantee after one day at Vacation Care they will will be begging you to keep coming back. With excursions that involve ten-pin bowling, nerf wars, dancing, making your own cold rock ice cream and even completing your very own amazing race! The fun never stops with Stepping Stones.
Meet New Friends.
It’s important for children to learn how to socialise and interact with other children away from technology. At Vacation Care with Stepping Stones they do both of these things on a regular basis. Plus the old saying “sharing is caring” stands true with kids learning empathetic skills within a group while making friends along the way.
